Carved in the shape of a bird. The wings are highlighted with a zig-zag pattern typical of the Massim area. Contrary to Beasley’s assertions, according to Harry Beran, this sculpture is not an areca nut crusher.
Its use is unknown, and its style is atypical for this region.
