After studying art history and working as a curator at the Musée de la Marine in Paris, Franck Marcelin opened his own gallery in Aix-en-Provence in 1981.
Specializing in Pacific art, curator of exhibitions on the art of Oceania, supplier to national and international museums (Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, Cannes, Rochefort, Nouméa, Milan etc.), he is a member of the Fédération nationale des experts professionnels spécialisés en art and the Confédération européenne des experts d’art.

In 1981, Franck Marcelin opened his first gallery in Aix-en-Provence.
After 40 years of discoveries, encounters and diverse exhibitions, he decided at the end of 2021 to close the rue Jaubert gallery for good.
His passion for tribal art, and in particular Oceanic and Northern art, will not end with this closure.
It allows her to devote more time to researching and discovering these wonderful objects.
