This extremely rare bow features a high-relief carving of an elongated medallion at both ends, reminiscent of a stylized face used to secure the bowstring. A groove runs between the two medallions, probably to improve the weapon’s flexibility and tension. This groove is characteristic of Polynesian bows. Price: €5,500
