This large polar bear is distinguished by its elongated neck. The animal is shown in a foraging position. This sculpture was extracted from permafrost during excavation, and the bear is highly stylized, a sign of the first animal sculptures on Île Saint-Laurent; it is distinguished by its large size (one paw restored).
